Select text first, then check if button appears. Refresh the page, check browser console (F12), or configure custom selectors in settings.

Connection Test Failed

Verify API key is correct, check provider status page, or try Ollama for local testing.

Invalid API Key

Check key format matches provider (sk-ant- for Claude, sk- for OpenAI, AIza for Gemini).

Ollama Not Connecting

Ensure Ollama is running (ollama serve) and you've pulled a model (ollama pull codellama).

Settings Not Saving

Check Chrome storage permissions, reload extension, or clear browser cache.

Check chrome://extensions/ for errors, ensure Developer mode is enabled.

  1. Go to chrome://extensions/
  2. Click "Errors" button on the extension card
  3. Check which file has the error
  4. Reload extension after fixing

▼

Cause: Claude API requires special header for browser requests

Fix:

1. Check API Key:

  • Go to provider's dashboard

  3. Test manually:
curl http://localhost:11434/api/tags # Should list your models
